About Fall Scavenger Hunt
Most of what turns up under acorn needs work before it is usable. Fall Scavenger Hunt is the version that does not. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Rita Bischoff Pencz made it. The save count is still small at 17, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
If you want one use for it, take apples: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. At this age a sheet has to be finishable in one sitting, so few tasks per page and plenty of empty space beat a busy worksheet. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every printable on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Search for chestnut, coloured leaf, coloured tree and fall girl and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same printable, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. You will find it among the preschool and kindergarten, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are preschool, kindergarten, toddler, shapes and fine motor and they stay on this page. The wording people arrive with is preschool worksheets free printables, preschool printables, toddler learning activities printables and rainy day activities for kids preschool, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this printable
- Download the file from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — kids printables usually arrive as one print-ready PDF.
- Print in black and white first and check one page with the child: half of what looks good on screen bores them in a minute.
- Print at 100% so tracing lines and cut-out pieces stay the size they were drawn at.
- Slide a sheet into a plastic pocket and give them a dry-wipe pen — the same page then survives a dozen rounds instead of one.
